The Superior General and her General Council are elected by the General Chapter, held every six years. The 26th General Chapter took place in June 2018. Sister Brenda McCall was elected as Superior General. The four Councillors elected were Sister Dominica Cooper, Sister Teresa Walsh, Sister Veronica Kealey and Sister Hannah Dwyer.

The business plan for the next six years at Congregation, Region and House levels will be reviewed, updated and developed to take the Congregation forward to the next Chapter in 2024.
