‘Mission Alive,’ is an education programme for Staff designed to inform them of the life and times of our Foundress, Victoire Larmenier .

During each session staff members are made aware of the history of the Congregation.  Special emphasis is placed on the Core Values by working in groups and breaking down each one in a practical way e.g. Respect:  What does Respect look like, sound like and feel like?  The suggestions which arise are given to the Care Manager to be used as reference charts at staff meetings throughout the year.

All staff members have made positive comments after each session, for example:

  • "It has been so interesting hearing about the history of the Sisters."
  • "It was brilliant and easy to understand."
  • "I am proud to be working in Nazareth House."
  • "I am glad I belong to the family of Nazareth."

We hope to enable our employees to value and explore the Core Values underpinning all we do, namely:  Love, Patience, Hospitality, Respect, Compassion, and Justice.

Finally, through this programme, we aim to help staff feel part of the worldwide Nazareth family.
