    I was professed as a Sister of Nazareth in Hammersmith in October 1972. My main ministry as a Sister has been in care of older people both in Ireland and the UK. I trained as a nurse in West Middlesex Hospital in London, have attended many courses on different aspects of care and management. Recently I completed a PGDip at Loughborough University in Leadership and Management.
    I was appointed UK Regional Superior in December 2012, am based in Finchley and work with the UK Regional Team in the governance and leadership of the region.

    Robert York joined the team at Nazareth Care in September 2008 initially on a consultancy basis and in 2009 became the Regional CEO for the region. Robert began his career as a nurse working within both the NHS and private sector. During this time Robert has worked in both Acute and Long Care, for both larger cooperate organisations and smaller operators, these have included BMI Hospitals, BUPA and Barchester Healthcare.

    Christopher Stringer joined the UK region in 2010, initially on a consultancy basis, and in 2012 become the UK region Finance Director. Christopher began his career as a nurse, within both the private sector and NHS, specialising in minimal access and micro surgery, quality and financial management systems. Christopher has worked for both large corporate and smaller organisations.

    After several years involvement with the management of the Ministry of Defence estate, Brendan joined Nazareth Care Charitable Trust in 2014 as Regional Development Manager (Property). He provides support to managers and maintenance staff at all Nazareth Care homes in the UK Region.

    Martin Lowthian joined the UK region in December 2016, having worked on a consultancy basis from April 2016 reviewing Quality and Compliance in all houses. Having started his career in Internal Audit, Martin has spent the majority of his working life in acute NHS hospitals and private care businesses in Quality and Governance roles, although he has also worked for multi-national FTSE 100 businesses. His focus is to support and monitor the quality of care and outcomes for Residents and the regulatory compliance of our services.

    I have worked for the Sisters of Nazareth for a number of years and in a number of different roles. I first started in catering and then moved to finance. I joined the Regional Team in August 2011, were I was appointed to the role of Regional Purchasing Manager. In October 2012 my role changed to that of Regional Development Manager. Throughout my time working for the Sister of Nazareth I have obtained a degree in Economics and Mathematical Sciences, accountancy qualifications and a PGDip in Leadership and Management.

    Sue has extensive experience in care home finance and administrative systems and joined the regional team at Nazareth Care Charitable Trust in 2012 as a Regional Development Manager where she supports our administration teams throughout the UK.

    Kevin joined the team at Nazareth Care in March 2016 having previously worked as an Interim Care Home Manager for the previous 12 months. He initially came into the Care sector as a Group Internal Auditor for Southern Cross in 2007, covering the North of the United Kingdom. He progressed into the Care side of the business becoming a Service Quality Inspector in 2008 and carried this through to a similar role with HC-One in 2011. Kevin is committed to ensuring that the Quality of Service provided is of the best possible standard and that it meets the needs and personal choices of the Residents in our care
