Respite care is an important part of supporting home based care and is offered by Nazareth House Camberwell.
Nazareth House is owned by the Sisters of Nazareth, an international order of Catholic Sisters. Pastoral Care has a high priority at Nazareth House.
The aim of palliative care is to achieve the best possible quality of life for the resident, and provide sensitive end of life care and support.
A team of allied health specialists function from our House to provide a range of clinical expertise such as Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Pharmacists, Occupational Therapy and Podiatrists. Residents are encouraged and supported to use allied health specialists of their choice. All residents are assessed on entry for mobility and dexterity by our Physiotherapist and are re-assessed regularly or on a needs basis.
Our Wellbeing and Lifestyle team promote the health and wellbeing of residents through the provision of aged appropriate activities, programs and events.
