The menus at Nazareth House Fresno are as varied as they are delicious under the watchful eye of Anilene Clarin, Dining Supervisor and a dietitian supervisor for nearly two decades!
Fresh is her mantra, and no wonder with the plethora of nearby vegetable farms and fruit groves. Have a favorite family recipe? Bring it along! Anilene loves to expand her menus and it’s important that we offer food choices that our resident’s and guests will enjoy, she says.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner meals each have a full array of items that may include made-to-order eggs, healthy soups, fresh salads, hearty entrée’s; while our kitchen oven’s turn out a variety of baked goods including breads, cookies, and tasty desserts.
Mindful of taste and portion control, we carefully select the right mixture of protein, vegetables and carbohydrates making the menus mouthwatering and healthy — herb-roasted lamb chops, prime rib au jus and the old favorite, spaghetti with meatballs to name a few.
During mealtime you will find our dining staff strolling from table to table, fulfilling diners needs and requests. The aroma is a sensory dinner bell, inviting residents to a dining experience that makes them feel like a guest.
