Being engaged and active is an important part of daily life for our residents at Nazareth House Fresno.

The Life Enrichment staff, with suggestions from residents, has designed programs to stimulate the mind, body and spirit. A monthly calendar of activities and events is provided to each resident.
Recreational activities make a fun game of staying fit. Games that challenge the mind and tickle the spirit; current event discussions keep the mind sharp; visiting pets generate a lot of smiles and laughter.
Residents also enjoy the outdoors as they try their hand at working in our raised garden beds or while walking through our beautifully manicured, park-like grounds. There are challenging exercise classes to keep the muscles toned and fit and the library is always open and provides a peaceful space to read the morning newspaper.
Each resident has a different set of plans and goals and our Life Enrichment program has a lot of physically and mentally challenging activities, events and outings that bring on big smiles for everyone!
