Paula Clark – General Manager

My name is Paula and I am the newly appointed registered Manager at Nazareth House in Crosby. I have been a Manager of nursing, residential and dementia homes for the past 11 years and I am very excited to be joining Nazareth Care and look forward to happy times ahead. I started out working in care as a care assistant when I was 18 and have worked hard to succeed in my career with roles including night carer, senior carer, team leader, deputy manager and eventually reached my goal of Manager in 2006. I find my job very rewarding and enjoy building relationships with staff, residents and family members alike.

Antonia Riley – Head of Care

I started working for the Sisters of Nazareth when I was 15 years old, working in the dining room assisting with meals. I then went on to get my NVQ 2 to become a carer. By the time I was 25 I had done my NVQ 3 to become a senior carer. Throughout the years I have seen a lot of changes in Nazareth House. I worked hard to become a team leader and I am now the Head of Care.

Maria Watkinson – Catering Manager

I have worked here at Nazareth House Crosby for 33 years. Most of those years have been at the head of the Kitchen as Catering Manager alongside 4 other members of staff.  And over those years I have gained training and qualifications that has put me where I am today. I have always been a very active member of staff, getting involved in lots of different activities like coffee mornings and holding fetes and cake sales. I have always been very comfortable working for the Sisters and find Nazareth Care Charitable Trust very encouraging. I find it very rewarding when we hear from the residents themselves that we are doing a good job, but we also listen and take on board any request or constructive criticism and together plan our menus, and I can go home each day knowing I have tried my best.
