Residents at Birkenhead had a fantastic afternoon learning how to make pizzas with Florentin the Catering Manager and his team, ably supported  by Sue and Irene from Activities and Steve the GM who doesn’t need any excuse to be in the kitchen eating!

Florentin prepared the dough for the bases but from there on in it was a question of imagination, creativity and the knowledge that the end product would only take a couple of minutes to cook in our fabulous new kitchen.

There was flour everywhere but what fantastic pizzas resulted.  They were all eaten there and then along with a couple of glasses of bucks fizz to wash them down.

Florentin’s next kitchen class is going to be how to make doughnuts so we are all desperately looking forward to that one!
