Sunday, 27th January, 2013 was a wonderful day at Southend-on-Sea with Friends and visitors arriving from near and far for the launch of “Mission Alive and Active”. The Mission Alive Group has three aims. It ensures Nazareth Care staff enjoy: (a) continuous education in our Nazareth Congregational Core Values; (b) a knowledge of Congregational and local Nazareth House History; (c) a real interest in promoting a ‘Call’ to Service as a Sister of Nazareth.
It was a full and fruitful day all round and what added to its enjoyment was that refreshments were available throughout the day and, of course, enjoyed by all as they chatted to the Sisters and viewed our three power point presentations.
It was a full and fruitful day all round. Sisters Anthony, Aquinas, Mary Frances and Frances Kelly thank the Sisters in Southend for being so supportive and welcoming. Watch out for our next launch in Glasgow and we ask your prayers please for God’s blessing on our gathering in Scotland.
