• Laundry

We have our own onsite commercial laundry and we attend to the laundering of residents personal items and their daily needs.

All linen is washed and dried on-site by our caring laundry attendants.

All linen is returned on the same day.

Residents are encouraged to purchase “Nazareth Care” clothing labels through Reception on entry to the House, this helps elevate losses of clothing through the laundry.”

  • Catering

All meals are cooked fresh on site in the Nazareth Care kitchen from the dietetically approved rotational menu. Residents are offered a variety and choice from these menus along with sandwiches and salads and are consulted regarding menu changes. We use all fresh ingredients for our meals and regularly ask residents for their feedback. We constantly improve and evolve our selection of meals to cover care recipient likes and dislikes. We consult with Dietitians and Nutritionists to ensure the provision of high quality, nutritionally balanced meals are always served.

We offer a four week rotating menu. Our menu is varied and we endeavour to please individual tastes and to cater for all dietary needs and preferences.

Meals are served to the resident in either the dining room or their own room depending on their need.

Approximate meal commencement times are as follows:

Breakfast  –  8.00am

Morning Tea  –  10.00 -10.30am

Lunch  –  12.00 noon

Afternoon Tea  –  3.00 pm

Dinner  –  5.00 pm

Supper  –  7.00 pm

Family and visitors may arrange to dine with you, and this meal can be organised through Reception during business hours at a reasonable cost.

Tea and coffee facilities are available for residents and their visitors.

Between the main meals, there are morning and afternoon teas. If a resident is still hungry there are snacks available on request between meals.

  • House Keeping

We have a full housekeeping team that is led by a Senior Housekeeper.

All resident rooms and ensuites are cleaned daily by this well organised team.

If the resident requires anything at all they only have to ask these employees and they are only too happy to assist.

Housekeeping is done 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
