The experienced staff makes it a priority to ensure that residents find it very easy to blend in and become a member of this Nazareth family.
Many say they feel honored to work here; to serve the generation who has spent a lifetime serving their needs. For Patricia at the front desk, some tasks are simple – finding a stamp for outgoing mail or assisting with an appointment or transportation. Tomas waits by the door with his bus always ready to give a lift and a gentle hand.
Both will treat you with respect and care; these are our staff and volunteers at Nazareth House.
The house auxiliary stocks and sells residents’ favorites in the gift store. In addition, members take the store decor very seriously and stay tuned to seasonal and holiday celebrations with art projects that promise a smile and even a giggle.
Sisters, staff, and volunteers, can point you in the right direction, should you get turned around. Darlene and Pat know how you like your coffee or tea and even which Sunday morning sweets you prefer when the auxiliary hosts its monthly social.
Many volunteers came through these doors searching for a loving place for an elderly parent. They caught the spirit and gladly donate their time and talents — most admitting that they get much more pleasure from the experience than residents.
Come meet the people who work and play here. Call us for a tour then drop by and talk to us in person. The opportunity to join our team as a volunteer may be just what your life is missing.
